The Backstory

Darjeeling is known around the world as "the Champagne of teas". Grown since the 1840's in the Darjeeling region of West Bengal, India, the tea is made from the small-leaf Chinese version of Camellia Sinensus (as opposed to the large leaf plant typical of Assam). Darjeeling is traditionally finished as a black tea.

This Darjeeling is the classic first-flush, black tea, sophisticated and complex, with fruit and sweetness in the finish.
